Garden Stool or Table or Plinth for statue or Birdbath.
I would use it as an outdoor table.
I think it would make a cute base for a fairy garden. Add moss and decorate.
You might level off the two cut surfaces, seal with a clear water resistant sealer and use as a place to show off colorful pots with seasonal displays. I have also seen trunks as large as yours "sliced" about 1" thick and used as charger plates for table decor. If you have access to the type of saw that wold be needed to do this, that's what I would do.
Do you want to keep this stump whole-as is-or do you want to cut it up for multiple purposes?

Stool, table, plinth for a statue, or birdbath in the garden.
I have one as a planter by taking out a section with a chisel in the middle. I stood it at the end of the driveway and added sedum.
Also makes a great outdoor table for drinks by a chair. Seal it or it will rot in a few years. Also good to put it on casters, 1. to keep it from rotting at the bottom from moisture and 2. makes it easy to move. Make one or buy a large one. Piece of wood cut to fit and 4 dolly wheels. Amazon has tons.
Hi, we used stumps to make llama chairs, fairy gardens, and a footstool. So many possibilities:
Hi Maureen: You can do a bunch of things with it. One, you can level both ends and use as an end table inside or out, make a faerie house out of it, put a bird bath on it, drill a hole in the middle and put a solar light in the hole and decorate the rest of the area according to the holiday, cut it in slabs and then in half across the middle and use them as edging for your flower garden, to name a few.
That first picture made me think of the jolly green giant's pants. Have you considered a scarecrow of sorts? Maybe a couple concrete blocks under the stump to lift it a little (and look like legs) then the stump and then chicken wire molded into a body. You can use a vine type plant to grow over the chicken wire. Maybe use a dollar store pumpkin bucket (or styrofoam) as the head.
