Paint red and use in garden.
use them around the edge of your porch or patio to hold flower,herb,or veggies. or in house in front of window for plant stands. add some brackets to undersides to connect them then add glass top for table. it really depends what they look like how long they are you could flip them upside down mount on wall for shelving. cut them into pieces and make something out of the wood.
Do you have any photos? I would paint them to match and use them at my dining table :)
Place them in the garden or around a fire pit setting. You could even use them outdoors to set plants on as it would give some dimension in your yard.
Use in your garden if they're rustic, or if you have a front porch, maybe? Paint them a nice bright blue for the garden--it goes really well with most flower and leaf colors.
