You could use etching cream or spray the windows with frost.
I think a peel and stick window film in a suitable pattern would look nice. You might also want to try contact paper in a pattern that suits your tastes, if you want to completely block the view to the inside of the cabinet.

It's somewhat old-fashioned, but I remember my grandmother's friend used to put pieces of lace curtains or doilies inside the cabinet against the glass.
