Update update my front door?

Hi Nancy, there are lots of ways to update a front door. The easiest that comes to mind would be with paint! I would pick an oil based paint like rustoleum for hard core lasting power.

Paint it in a color that pops but works with the other house colors. One way to do this is to look at the color groups found on color chip charts at the paint center of your home improvement store. The ones for house exteriors usually show groupings of three colors specifically for this purpose. The first color is for the house, the second for the door and shutters, the third for the trim around everything. Take a look - there may be a color scheme you may never even have considered that can change the entire feel of your house!
