How to Make Window Valances From Beach Mats
I found a pair of beach mats in storage, and thought of a way to use them in my kitchen to add warmth and texture to my black, white, and stainless steel kitchen.

I was surprised to find out how easy it was. This is probably one of the easiest projects I've ever worked on. What's better is that the beach mat valances I made for my kitchen have lasted since August. I recreated my steps in video, making it even easier to install than the first time. :) I hope this inspires you to look at things in storage a little differently.
