ReStyling Old ReStore Shutters

Easy
I scooped up 3 old white shutters on my last trip to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and turned them into an awesome focal point for my living room.
I stopped by my local ReStore recently because I was on the hunt for some doors to use for my upcoming pantry project. I found a couple that should do the trick, but I also spotted 3 chipped white shutters. They were just 2 bucks each, so I scooped them up without a definite plan.

I mounted them on D hooks and hung them in a boring corner of my living room, then mounted a Hobby Lobby clearance open-faced clock on top of that. I arranged some raw cotton in a thrift store vase on the table.

It changed the whole look of the room! Easy, instant gratification project. :-)
