Salvaging Old Drawers and Turning Them Into a Bookshelf

This sad little dresser was found at a thrift store for next to nothing. Despite the shape, it was easy to see that it was loving built with care and craftsmanship quite some time ago.
The dresser that was recreated into two different pieces. First it was turned into a function and pretty storage piece with cubbies. The cubbies in the first piece left four drawers that were unused and were given a new life of their own.
Legs were added to the bottom of one of the drawers to give the shelf height before painting.
The drawers were attached vertically and painted with an ombre effect to create this functional and funky bookshelf.
