Plier Rack

Grab a tool, use it and put it back instead of hunting in a drawer or turning it through 180.
I drew round the items I wanted to have to hand, and I mean 'to hand', and then cut out a sheet of 10mm plywood leaving space for my fingers to easily lift the tool which then falls easily into my hand. It's backed with thin ply and the rack is tilted at an angle that means the tools stay put and I mounted on the outside of a cupboard in my workshop. I don't even have to open the door! It works so well I plan to build more for other regularly used tools and french cleat them so I can move them around the shop.
