DIY French Provincial Dresser Makeover W/ Chalk Paint

I bought a French Provincial dresser from a lady who was selling off her grandmother's belongings. She said, "I want someone to make it pretty again and to love it like my grandmother did." And so, with those heartfelt words in mind, I gave the dresser a new leash on life.
1. The top had some wear, so I sanded it down and did a light scruff sanding to the rest of the dresser. I vacuumed the dust off, wiped down with Dawn dishwashing detergent and then used a tack cloth to remove any remaining dust and lint.

2. I painted all of the drawers in Old White and put them back in the dresser to see how they looked. Vanilla. It looked like plain vanilla so I painted the top trim French Linen to add depth.
3. I painted the top moulding and the the side panels in Old White and the rest of the body in French Linen.
4. The top was stained with Minwax's Dark Walnut and was sealed with a wipe on poly. The rest of the dresser was sealed with wax.

Absolutely beautiful!! Its so refreshing to see a piece of furniture made to look beautiful! In my opinion, the farmhouse look has been beat to death. I love what you've done with this!
