St. Patrick's Tablescape

If you have a set of glass dishes or salad bowls, you can use and re-use them to easily and inexpensively create a tablescape for any holiday or event.
For this St. Patrick's Day table setting, I used a bright green metal charger, topped by a plain white dinner plate. Next, I used a shamrock paper plate with a clear glass salad bowl on top. You can have a holiday plate without spending the money or finding storage for china.
When we finish the salad, I remove the bowl and the paper plate. I've created holiday and birthday plates this way many times. The paper plate can be re-used since it was protected by the glass plate.
When we finish the salad, I remove the glass bowl and the paper plate, so we can use the dinner plate to serve our food. You can see the rest of my St. Patrick's table on the blog.

I just love festive holiday tables. I don't think many people realize they can shop their cupboards and a dollar store and come up with amazing results.
