Keep a Basket of Socks for Your Guests to Wear When They Visit

Make your guests feel right at home and cozy when they visit your home by offering a basket of slippers or socks to wear.
The winter months are cold and snowy and guests are likely expected to remove their shoes and boots at the door. By offering them the option of some cozy socks to wear they will stay warm and feel right at home!
These socks were purchased at Dollar Tree so this is a very affordable project to do. Your guests can even take them home with them at that price!
I filled a rustic basket with neutral colored socks that will appeal to both men and women should they want a pair to wear.
I added a handmade manila tag to the front of the basket by writing stay cozy in black colored pencil and tucked in a piece of dried boxwood to finish it off.
The basket can be stored in a coat closet and pulled out when someone stops by. Your guests will be so grateful for their cozy feet! What other ways do you make your guests feel at home during the winter?

I love this idea and I always want my guests feel comfortable and cozy in my home. I keep a basket of soft & cozy throw blankets next to my fireplace in the living room. I keep the basket out year round just incase someone gets a chill from air conditioner vent in the summer. Now I'm adding a sock n slipper basket. Thank you!
