I have lugged this sewing box around the country for years...it needed some love...so I SPIT on it.
My maternal grandmothers 100 year old sewing box. I sanded it down...the wood was in pretty rough shape and was thirsty...so
I painted with Chalk paint..the color is mineral.
I stenciled some flowers...with 4 different layers of Unicorn Spit. I first dubbed circles of purple and pink. I then stenciled 3 layers...of purple, pink, white and a mixture of the three. I diluted the Spit 70/30 with water. I stenciled vine with Unicorn Spit green.....
I then put a few layers of Tung oil...My grandmother "Lanie" would love this...
