Painted Rock Cactus Centerpieces
I was throwing a Tex Mex graduation party and needed some quick and inexpensive table centerpieces. This fit the bill using rocks I found at the beach, paint I had on hand and garage sale Terra cotta pots. I just love how they turned out! They were so simple but yet made quite the statement.
I started by finding flat rocks of all sizes at our local beach. I painted each rock various shades of green that I had on hand in my craft supply box. You could also spray paint these. That would be the fastest alternative.
I used a Sharpie oil based paint marker in white to create the lines on each cactus.
I found Terra cotta pots at a garage sale and use a bag of rocks from the dollar store to hold each of my cactus rocks in place in my pot.
It cost me around $5 to create 12 of these rock cactus centerpieces. I just love how they turned out! And now I can use these around the house as low maintenance house plants. I am pretty sure I won't kill these!
