Whoahoo, happy dance time because Carol is gonna to be a grandma soon!!
We are so excited.. It’s baby shower time & we are getting our frugelegant party decor ready! The theme is Children’s Story Books so what better way to welcome guests than with a Story Book Baby Shower Wreath that uses the actual pages from old children’s books.
Items needed: a few children’s books that we bought from our local thrift store & one wire wreath form. Also needed: scissor, glue gun, staples & some assorted paper.
First separate the pages and then roll each page to the shape of a cone. Secure shape by stapling the bottom (as seen in the picture above).

Using a glue gun, we attach our rolled up pages all around the wire wreath frame. You can adjust per your preferences, but we made 2 layers using different size pages / cones.
Bright & colorful without spending a lot of money. Our Story Book wreath is the perfect way to welcome the guests!

I would love to try this but maybe try it for Mother's Day or a Friend's Birthday!!!

That's a great idea Lynn. It is incredible how many ways a book wreath can be used. A friend's favorite book or if they just love reading in general, any books. ;-)
