I was painting my laundry room and my old pantry aka entrainment center was in front of this box. It's the generator control for power.
And I got a real pantry so I got my laundry room back!
But now I have to cover this up but still have to be able to get to it.

We had pallet wood left over from pantry doors. I don't toss that stuff.
First I built a box that would sit on top of power center box. No bottom so it could lift up.
Then I attached the pallet wood. I traced out the wave on paper and put up on wall to make sure I had the box covered.
And it goes closer to the wall as it goes up. That makes it not stick out so far and it makes the wave look more like a wave!
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- The pallet wood was leftover free. The paint left overs free! (And when you plug in generator outside just lift wave a flip the switch we have power!)
- All was Free! (I made it up!)

This is way after your original post but have you considered using pallet boards for the doors of the cabinet? It would tie the whole theme together.

Ozzys Girl on Jan 07, 2018I didn't but I needed my doors to be straight so I used new wood and this was my first set of these doors. And I'm out of pallet wood. Lol

Wonderful work. Where did you get the whale? Did you make it yourself?
