Some of my favorite projects come from inspiration at Garage Sales and are inexpensive like this Upcycled Entryway Table.
Last spring I came across these two old tables. They were dove tailed, came with rusted handles and each had a identifying number on it. What I imagine were once part of a larger system I bought them for $10. I instantly had this idea of creating this entry way table and that I did!
I even did it wearing my cast! I had help from my Hubby attaching the two drawers. I scoured local shops for legs, but, just couldn't find any I liked. I ended up at Home Depot and bought spindles, stained them and attached them.

I then light sanded down the table and blended in the stain from the legs to the sides of the table.
This entryway table is now in the garage and awaiting it's new home in the basement...once we get that completed! I feel like I need a different leg on the table, but, just can't find anything suitable.
Who knows I may end up adding glass to the top once it gets it's final home!
What do you think, yay or nay? Please don't judge my photo wall...that has now been taken down as well. When family members come to decorate your home...

I love the way the top turned out but like u said the legs just aren’t the legs that really goes with it! The side made it have the most character! I love it!

I love this! What a brilliant idea. I bet you could also have the drawers turned up the other way, add a seashell (or something similar) collection and put a glass top over it.
