I grew up on a 40 acre farm, so naturally, we had the old, rambling farmhouse to go with it.
In my current much more modern home, I really miss some of those authentic elements. So I like to fake it by adding farmhouse charm where I can.
This summer, I desired to ramp up a little beat up curb side found table with my given style. Adding a few 2x4s, and reclaimed fence boards was all this charming farmhouse turn took!
And then, instead of kitchen curtains... well, read below to see what I did about that!
All enhanced by a super cool stencil of course... :)
Here's how I got this look...

Won't you join me for a coffee at my FARMHOUSE table? I even stock real cream!
This project started with a curb side found table. The metal base was perfect! But the top had seen much better days.
To enhance the top into farmhouse fabulous:
But the fun didn't end there. I love a stamped crate look, so I added a stencil for a little old sign factor.
This little table now chimes in perfectly with the style I love!
If you prefer your FARMHOUSE big and bold, this stencil comes in a much larger size too! Here it serves as a flower filled junk styled valance in my kitchen.
FARMHOUSE is a new stencil to Funky Junk's Old Sign Stencils and can be found HERE
