A Magical Christmas Ornament
This ornament will entertain and amaze your friends, kids, parents, etc. It's super simple, but the effect is amazing!
There are lots of ways to decorate plain glass ornaments, but this might be one of my favorites.
Everyone will love these, but they'll also all be thinking the same thing: How did the popcorn get it o the glass ball?
Here's the secret—you make the popcorn inside the ornament! This requires a little bit of finesse, but it's actually super simple.
How to fill ornaments with popcorn
Add 1 TBSP popcorn kernels into a GLASS ornament ball (it can't be plastic - you'll see why in a minute).
Do NOT put the metal top on the glass ball. Put the ball with corn kernels into a brown lunch bag and twist the top. Put it in the microwave for about 1 - 2 minutes. Listen for the popping to stop. Voila! Be sure to have spectators for this.
Once your ornament is full of fresh popcorn, put the metal cap back on and add ribbon or some other decoration to the neck of the ornament.

This sound kool. My question is how do you get the popcorn to come out so full snd white I’d think you’d by able to see the center kernel is the trick in making sure it fills the glass ornament?
How do you keep it from getting rancid, and can you get it out of the ornament without breaking the glass? How long can you store them without attracting bugs?
