Floral Monogram

Love those cardboard letters at the store? Here's how to make a DIY letter or shape and create a Floral Monogram!
Rather than purchase a cardboard letter at the store, make your own!
Floral Monogram Supplies:
- cardboard
- posterboard
- scissors
- a printed piece of paper with my letter or symbol
- glue
Print out the letter or symbol of your choice and cut it out. Trace that shape onto your piece of cardboard. Use scissors and a craft knife to cut out that cardboard letter.
Cut strips of poster board that are approximately 1 1/2" wide.
Use strong glue to attach the poster board around the sides of your cardboard letter.
Fill your letter or symbol with fake flowers. You can use paper flowers, felt flowers, silk flowers, or even silk flower petals.
I used silk flower petals and leaves to fill my ampersand. I plan to pair it with the first letter from my husbands name and the first letter of my name for a display!
