Rust Can Herb Dispaly

I was so excited to share on Home Talk Live last week my very simple, spring project using an up-cycle/down-cycle makeover of some used cans. An easy project using the this product to transform some new cans, to ones that look old rusty and vintage!
Peel off your packaging, and then begin using Modern Master product to create a "patina" rust look to your new cans. Be sure to follow directions for dry time, since there is some drying in between each coat.
Once product is applied, then it's time to add some cute little letters to your can to create words like "basil" "thyme" "parsley" etc... I used my Cricut Machine which I LOVE! It's an easy way to create your own letters in the font your choose. In my link to my page I have the file saved there so you can print on your own cricut at home. If you don't have a Cricut machine, you can find your own adhesive letters the apply. You could try stenciling...but that did not turn out to well for me when I tested that out.
Keep some fresh herbs in your kitchen for the upcoming Summer months!
