Creating My Dream Sideboard
by
Karen Rossman Clark
(IC: homeowner)
A dear friend gave me an antique French kitchen shelf years ago. I finally found a sideboard that had legs that matched at a yard sale. I painted them out in two tones of beige and made it into one piece. I am now moving on to kitchen cabinets using the sideboard for inspiration.
Enjoyed the project?

Karen Rossman Clark on Jan 20, 2014You can use that same technique of stencil plus joint compound to put reliefs on most anything like walls. I used it when I did an old cupboard that I used for display in a business. I ran aspen leaves down the sides of that cupboard.....I will try to find a picture. My daughter is now the owner of tha old cupboard. It was too huge for my home.
