Ikea Hack : Pom Pom Blanket

I added a little bit of whimsy to the ever popular Eivor throw from Ikea. I liked the blanket as is with its black and white stripes, but also thought it would be fun to add a fun detail.
I made yarn pom poms using the hand method {wrapping the yarn about 40 times for each pom around my fingers. There are lots of tutorials for making pom-poms on Pinterest if you never have before. Super easy and fun!}.
I made 5 for each short side of the throw. I evenly spaces the poms {at each corner, center, and then inbetween the center stripe and corner}. I hand sewed them on with a needle and thread. I finished most of the project while watching an episode of Jimmy Fallon. Super quick, easy, and fun! :)
