How to store scrapbook paper and supplies efficiently?

How about using some of the stacking (plastic) drawers available at Walmart, Target and online... just get one large enough to hold your largest paper sheet. There are specialty scrapbook caddies available at Michael's or Hobby Lobby

If you are adding cheaply to that mix, here's what I do! I love 12x12" scrapbook paper and hate dinged corners! I buy the 12x12" boxes when they are on sale or with a coupon at Michael's or ACMoore. They come in colors; pastel pink for pastels and Easter paper, green for Christmas, etc. They stack well; I use them for other craft supplies like Fimo/Sculpey and fabric paints. A 12x12" page protector or envelope is a perfect place to store supplies for a page in progress. I have also hauled suitcases home from the dump, wiped them our and stacked them (bureau drawer style without a frame )for paper storage. A wheeled suitcase is great to bring supplies to a crop or to a friends. Have an extra bureau I use also. A thrifted wide file cabinet and hanging folders would be ideal. I pick up Goodwill notebooks (2 1/2--3" thick) and slide my embellishments, clear stamps, etc. into acetate pages (Staples) to organize my bazillion embellishments by holidays, themes, etc. Shallow baskets also work well on bookcases for stuff I haven't filed yet, used recently, etc. I store my rubber stamps in gallon Ziploc-type bags with scrap cardboard cut just smaller than the bag and organize them by themes on end in boxes; totes would be ideal. I recently started keeping stuff in holiday themed recycable grocery bags to make FINDING all one holiday's stuff in one place easier!I store my ink pads (upside down, the correct way) in plastic music tape boxes from GW. Those $1200 desks that open up to organize craft supplies are nice but it ain't gonna happen here!
