A decal is a great way to fill an empty wall. There are dozens of wonderful options from Etsy and hu2 (http://hshq.us/1cNmq0T). The tough part is getting the decal on the wall correctly. Here are the quick steps (check out post for the full description).
-Tape decal to the wall
-Check position
-Remove paper backing from one half and apply from the middle out
-Double check the first half is firmly on the wall
-Switch to the other side
-Remove the front paper and admire your work!

I am redoing my bathroom, dining room and one bedroom. This is definitely inspiring. I'm driven to get started. I hope I can find a source for the decals.
