So her she is. Yeah she needs some work. But I couldn't leave her behind could I?
Found her at a thrift store. Scratched, dented and dinged up! But I feel in love anyway!
And those parts that have fallen off, they are made with real wood nothing some hammer and nails can't fix!
Anothwr big plus is that she has all her original hardware!! Can you say loveeeee????
So out with nails it is and a little elbow grease!
First up I like to do a clean with a Krud Kutter. Then come my favorite part! The paint!!!!
It really is that easy! With this paint I'm not going to sand, strip or even prime! All I have to do is pick a color!!!! Which would you go with?
My fav brushes are Shabby chip brushes! Cause you know I'm an old time worn lover! These do the trick perfectly!!
And let's throw in a sandpad too...because its an easy way to take off paint on the edges to further give me that look I'm going for! Med grit are my favs!
Now are you ready to see the after???????
Join us live on Hometalk at 8 PM EST, Wed, Nov 9 and see the BIGGgGg transformation!!!!
See ya there!
