out of the shell. use a ice cube tray, muffen pan freeze them 1 to each cell. once frozen take out of tray and store in freezer bag.

I don't think it makes any difference. I have had a few frozen eggs in the past and let them thaw in the shell and used them without a problem.

Take them out and put them in sealable sandwich bags. Let them thaw at room temperature.
This is something I've never done, but you can bet I'm going to now!! You could save money when stores have a special on eggs, which they often do.
