I would like to know how to get rid those pesty little sink/drain flies. I've tried baking soda and vinegar, drain cleaners and put plastic over the drains.
Check where you keep all your food and make sure they are not pantry moths. I had them a couple years back and even though I have a small house and not much cabinet space to begin with, it still took forever and I had to clean the entire kitchen out and lost several hundred dollars worth of food in the process. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Pull out the mothballs! They still sell them by the box in the laundry detergent aisle, usually on the bottom shelf. Sprinkle a few of them in each area, room, or closet. If you can close the doors on the spaces, the moth balls will work faster. There is a strong smelling chemical in the balls that somehow kills the moths. You can put them on the floor, in corners, in a pocket in an open ZipLoc bag, or in a dish. Don’t put them where pets can eat them. 😇
Probably pantry moths or carpet moths. You can buy pheramone traps for both types you can put in your cupboards or hang in each room.
There is a wonderful little machine called a “Stinger Insect Trap”. We were infested with moths and I tried everything but nothing got rid of all of them until I plugged in the Stinger. We have been moth free ever since!

You cab buy what has been used for years and years...fly paper. It is sold on Amazon and other places. They aren't pretty but they work. Once you have the infestation under control put out bay leaves in your pantry as well as where you keep bird seed.
Hi Suzis, We had an infestation of them last year. So frustrating and had to throw everything that wasn’t canned or in a sealed container out and completely clean and wipe every surface. We also bought sticky moth traps. Apparently, they have some kind of pheromone inside that attracts the moths and then they get stuck. We’ve also hung bay leaves in our pantry (my Mom’s advice) and that seems to work. They haven’t been back this year.
