Try baking soda and vinegar on the inside of the oven. Sprinkle with baking soda and spray with vinegar and let it soak. Wash the racks with a brillo pad or dish soap in the sink.

Use spray on oven cleaner..steel wool will help racks after soaking in hot water
Do the above but place the racks inside a black garbage bag and seal tightly. Place the garbage bag in the sun and let the sun do most of the work for you.
Hello! I recently cleaned my oven racks. I used equal parts of blue Dawn dish detergent and white Vinegar in a spray bottle. I sprayed the combination on the oven racks and let it soak for a while. Then I scoured with a scouring pad. I rtpeated when necessary. Got the racks cleaner than I thought possible!
I agree with Janet Panos. Good, old-fashioned vinegar works so well in many cleaning applications. Sprinkle baking soda and then spritz with vinegar. If there is oil or grime, add blue Dawn dish soap to the vinegar. If your stove is stainless steel, put a few drops of either canola oil or baby oil on a clean cloth and rub with the grain. Of course, the oil comes after the stove is clean.
Place them in a garbage bag and spray with oven cleaner. Let sit over nite. Scrub and hose off the next day
For standard cleaning, use a soapy sponge and hot water to wipe the racks. For stubborn messes, soak oven racks in hot water, dish soap, and a couple scoops of baking soda. Let the racks soak in this mixture for 15 to 30 minutes before scrubbing clean with a soft sponge.
I've used a plastic garbage bag, placed the racks in them, poured in a bit of ammonia and let them sit overnight. Cleaned them right up with minimal effort.
After placing the oven rack on top of an old towel at the bottom of the bathtub, dissolve approximately half a cup of liquid or powder dishwasher detergent in a warm bath. After letting the oven rack soak for the entire night, rinse it well with clean water and a scrubby sponge.
Hello, hope this helps you.
