  • I would use to decorate for every holiday! Mardi Gras, Valetine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc. Go through your seasonal decor and see what you have. Another idea would be to use in kitchen to display seasonal or holiday tea towels, oven mitts, pot holders.

  • this is really cute! This would be great for someone who wants to hang stockings with no mantle or staircase banister. I agree with Naomie about other holiday. I would probably use it to hang small pots with flowers or herbs in spring and summer.. Maybe even hang little pails with my crafting supplies.

I agree. For Easter I would wrap spring flower garland around it and hang little Easter baskets on it. Very cute!

Organize winter scarfs and hats near the door. Organize pretty silk scarfs in a bedroom, and use it as a decoration.

I would use it full time in the kitchen for aprons, dish towels, and hot pan holders. Or would be adorable if you have any little kids for their coats. Just curious why did you not use your mantel for the stockings?

thanks for all comments! Good ideas.

the reason I did not use the mantel is because every year it frustrates me that once the stockings are stuffed they get heavy and fall. And with the mantel being so low the stockings hang low over the fire source. But when i saw thus I liked the idea of it.

I would have my grandchildren hang their backpacks on this. It's so pretty and would keep them off my entry way floor. Friends can hang purses when they visit. Again keeps floor visually clean. During summer I would have them hang up wet towles while swimming. They usually end up in a wet ball. This can help them dry and reuse more often.

You could hang small buckets on it for gloves, remotes, plants, magazines, crayons, what ever you need a place for. Or make hanging pockets (like the pocket from jeans) to hold "stuff"
