Super Cut Upcycled Nutella Jar Cloche

I have 3 boys, 2 teenagers and one young adult. They are permanently hungry and often snack on piles of toast with lashings of Nutella.

The other day whilst cleaning up after one of their major toast feasts I noticed the Nutella jar and thought they look like mini cloches (glass domes). Which gave me the idea to make this super cute winter decoration for my boy's rooms.
What you need is the small Nutella jars, the ones that can be used as drinking glasses once empty.
I went hunting around the home to see what I could use to make a fun winter scene for the cloches.

I decided to use a wood slice for the base, mini pine cones for trees. And as my boys were huge dinosaur fans I decided to use some mini dinosaur figures left over from when they were younger.
I covered the wood slices in glue and then stuck down fake snow.
I spray painted my mini dinosaurs with gold paint like this one here.
Next, I spray painted the pinecones green to make them look like mini trees.

I then used a hot glue gun to stick a mini dinosaur figure and a mini pinecone to the wood slice.
Finally, I just put the Nutella Jar upside down on top of the wood slice like a mini glass dome (cloche). For more details check out the blog link.

My boys all love their mini dinosaur terrariums. You can, of course, use what other mini figures you like.

This isn't the first time I've used the kids' old toys to make a decoration for their rooms. I made a fun and unique frame for my youngest son out of all his old broken toys and figures which you can see here.
