Sharing a sweet collage canvas I made.
This collage art piece is Valentine inspired...
You could create your own picture in whatever colours you like...
I chose yellow for a change from the standard red and pink colours used a for Valentines.
You will need:
A canvas - 30cm x 30cm with a 3cm edge.
Acrylic art paint in the colour you choose and in white.
A selection of images to collage.
(I used images from the free resources at Graphics Fairy.)
Scissors
Modpodge
Paintbrush.
Step one: Paint the canvas using your colour paint and white for contrast.
Paint the outside edges of the canvas white.
Leave to dry.
Step Two:
Cut out or tear around the edges of your images.
And decide how you will arrange them on the canvas.
Step Three:
Glue the images onto the canvas.
Put a final coat of sealer over entire collage.
I used mod pod to glue the pictures on and to seal it.
You could use plain PVA glue.
Once dry the pictures will flatten onto the canvas.
Staple a string hanger onto back of the picture to hang,
or just stand the canvas on a bookshelf or side table.
