Jewelry or Utensil Center From Re-purposed Shutter
Hi Andrea. I have seen people make head boards from shutters. If you need one you could try it.
You could use them for a headboard.
So many fun ideas for shutters on these sites:

Hi Andrea. I have a house full of installed shutters (sitting under one just now) obviously I love shutters. They are great for light control, decoration, etc. however after years of owning all these shutters and aging too, I realize that shutters are a lot of work. Just think, every little slat is a surface to catch dust. I doubt we will rid ourselves of these shutters cause they have served us well, look nice. Yours are not too big, do not have moveable louvers so they should be great from a decorating point of view, plus maybe you could take them outside and hose off if they need cleaning. With the hinge sections on you could use them as doors for a bookcase of cabinet, you could also leave the hinge strips off and make a wall decoration from the four panels which you could use to leave notes, display cards or kid's art work. When I had a shop I used such panels to display paper items.
