Horse manure - well rotted!
People comment on how my roses have so many blooms and bloom all summer into fall frost. My secret is simple, When we eat bananas, I place the peelings on the back side of the rose bush out of sight. The peels of bananas are high in potassium and roses need it to bloom. I hope this helps. Mine bloom abundantly and that is all I do besides mulch and water.
Very healthy soil will help!
