Many people are allergic to harsh cleaning products....Many don't even know it! I am studying to become a certified aromatherapist and have found natural ways to clean. Not only are these better for you, they smell amazing.
I gathered the materials which include vinegar, pure Castille soap, and essential oils.
The brand does not matter as long as it is pure distilled vinegar.
Castile soap comes in many scents. If I cannot get unscented, I use lavender.
Although this cleaner recipe does not call for it, you can add drops of tea tree to almost anything. It is a powerful oil, antiviral, antifungus, and antibacterial.
You will need spray bottles, a measuring cup with ounces, and measuring spoons.
Here is the recipe: 3 ounces of water, 2 teaspoons of castile soap, 5 drops of lemon essential oil, 5 drops of orange essential oil, 5 drops of peppermint oil, 1/4 teaspoon of white vinegar. Combine all in a spray bottle.
Multiply the recipe as needed for your bottle. You usually do not use plastic with essential oils, but in this case, it is ok. This cleaning spray can be used on surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, etc.
Here's the beauty of it: not only does it smell amazing, all the oils used kill bacteria on the surface and IN THE AIR around it long after you clean.

I really needed this , allergies prevent me from even going in the cleaning aisle in the supermarkets. Great post!
