Overhauled Vintage Nightstand + Vintage Yardsticks!

I ran across this great, vintage nightstand at an outdoor market and knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to give it a lot of red, a touch of distressing, some dark wax and lots of vintage yardsticks!
I custom cut vintage yadsticks to cover the front of each drawer.
I kept the original handles because they were so cool with the metal ends.
I figured the sides needed some attention so I framed up some more vintage yardsticks inside the square pockets.
Some vintage yardsticks with red printing were thrown in to tie in the chalk paint color.

You ROCK!!! This is, by far, the most original and coolest dresser re-do I have seen in a long time! You are an artist and your imagination is unique and refreshing. Thank you for sharing your gift.
