I want to tape down an electrical cord onto my laminate floors. Will it ruin the floors? What kind of tape is best?

An Easy Way to Hide Cords/Electrical Wires
Cord covers! You can paint them to match your walls.
Wooden Crate with lid and slit handles so the cords can go through. Or convert a cardboard box........
Try Command Hooks they have some to hold cords now.
Ask at a hardware store. There are plastic do-dads that have a built-in hook on each end. You wrap the excessive cord along the center and hook each end of excess cord in the "hook" part.

Use covers made to hide shower bars. Amazon has them. They are then plastic which can be cut to fit and come in a lot of colors.
