DIY White Washed Faux Wood Lamp Base Makeover
by

We took an old, outdated metal lamp and gave that baby a quick, EZ makeover!
We started with a black metal base lamp but the bones were good so we couldn't just throw it out. Laid a few coats of Plaster Paint on it, dabbed a little bit of glaze on it then finished it up with sealer.
The entire project took about an hour and we are just loving how it turned out. Here are the supplies we used; Plaster Paint in Toasted Marshmallow & Ivory Lace, a cheap chip brush, Ralph Lauren glaze and a matte spray sealer.

Plaster Paint is da-bomb! Check out all about it here! http://threemangoseeds.blogspot.com/p/plaster-paint-shop-working-on.html
No reason to try and put it on perfectly -- just slap it on.
