I saw this add for small 3 drawer dresser, and I loved it despite damage it had. It look fixable, and I saw potential.
Since I have never fixed something so severe damaged, I had to educate myself... Well thank God for youtube :)
I decided to buy dresser and started transformation.

I decided to buy dresser and started transformation.
Here is picture before and after.
Like I said before, this furniture was very damage. It had a lot of scratches and bites.. I think the dog of the previous owner was very "close" with this furniture... One thing I know for sure, this dog had very good taste.. :)
I used wood filler to fix this missing part and some other bigger scratches. I have never done anything like this,so like you can see it looked little sloppy. Any way.. after wood filler dried I sanded and shaped as the other sided. Must say it wasn't as difficult as I was thinking.
Since I decided to paint with 2 colors, I had to use tape. First I painted Annie Sloan Pure White and than after dried, I used tape and painted legs, frame and top with Annie Sloan Paris Gray.
I loved scroll design on the original drawers and I decided to look for similar stencil. I found something I could use, I measured scroll part, and I was very glad because it fit perfectly.
In the end I distressed it lightly and applied soft clear wax. This is how dresser looks finished.
After I finished I decided it could be perfect as jewelry armoire..
