Using boxes or baskets as storage is a great and often used way to keep your space in order - be it the kitchen counter, your work desk, a crafting area or a hallway table. Here's a simple hack that will gain you a lot of precious table, desk or countertop space, using a few scraps and a snap. How? Check out the tutorial (here) - it comes with a FREE template!
What you'll need is two really small pieces of fabric, and a button or a snap. Or even better, KAM snap.

(I love KAM snaps, and you can browse through my other Hometalk projects - I made a tutorial how to use just these. So easy you might even ditch buttons for good! Just sayin' ;)
Use my FREE template to cut & sew two pieces of fabric together, like shown in the photo above.
Once you've sewn it, turn the piece right side out, and press to get it nice and flat. Then sew, using the simple straight stitch, to attach it to the upper edge of any basket or box you have at hand.

Then the only thing left to do is attach a closure of your choice - sew on a button, or add a KAM snap - in a snap!
Hang it and use! This easy diy will enable you to turn all your regular bins into cute multi-tasking wall hanging bins. Give it a try, and don't forget to download your FREE template now - it's on the blog!
