What's the best flower/plant to grow in Texas?
I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
Trim yes, prune no, too late if it has started to leaf out. Pruning is done in late winter to early spring before they break dormancy. At this point I would just let them go for this season and deadhead as needed. Then late winter, early spring next year, prune properly.

has the rose bush started to leaf out.rule of thumb late winter and early spring before any new growth
Wait for the new growth to see what dead stalks need to be pruned.
