You could build a partition wall so you have a separate storage area across the back.
Hi William. You could add a rug under the pool table. Most times you can find good deals on remnants of carpet at a carpet store at a very low price. Then you could hang a rod and put curtains on it to hide the tools, boxes and shelving. A lamp would be nice too. If you are handy you could build a big storage closest for the boxes. You can find big hooks for the garage that you put into the ceiling to hang bikes.
You would be surprised what you might find for your NFL mancave at antique stores and they usually will go down on the price!
Check pawn shops for NFL memorabilia, you could paint the logo of your favorite team on a dropcloth and hang it as a curtain/divider
tough love - CLEAN OUT the junk you really realllllllllly don't need. Sell on-line, donate, etc. if you just cannot toss it (hanging my head...guilty!)
Think VERTICAL - get stuff up off the floor - shelves - hooks etc. - you don't need to "cover it" if it's organized and out of your way. Then try setting up your room a little differently to maximize space - adding a large screen TV, comfy couch/chairs.
Can you move any of the "stuff" into a shed or into the house and actually USE IT? That's a sign you might not need all of it. GOOD LUCK!
I've been "downsizing" for YEARS now... tough love.
Declutter, goes without saying. Comfy seating arrangement: sectional or individual lounge chairs. Large coffee table for all the beer, bar and snacks. An area rug would elevate your surroundings to a greater comfort leve. A mini fridge would substantiate your man cave status.
I am a decorator. Feel free to send additional photos for more comprehensive advice.
Hide the shelving with cheap flat sheets, preferably in
your team colors. Paint the walls and the floor; also in team colors. Haunt Craig’s List, Letgo, etc for rugs and furniture.
All fantastic suggestions! Shop flea markets, swap meets, garage sales for decor. Here are some fantastic budget friendly ideas.

Get old sports magazines, cut out pix of your team/favorite players and make a decoupage mural on one wall. Could also go on a door or a piece of furniture. Use a good sealer once it's dried, especially if it's going to have to stand up to a lot of use. Hometalk has several how tos for decoupage. You could also use fake grass patio rug and paint it to look like the gridiron. Cut a stencil of your team logo to spray paint endzones and use pvc pipe painted for goal posts. Have fun!
Paint the walls your NFL choice colors, paint the flooring, add furniture, shelving, and a huge TV to the wall.
Have the big TV and most of the boxes r going to CHARITY. THESE R SOME GREAT SUGGESTIONS & VERY APPRECIATIVE OF ALL.
THANKS.
THIS IS WHY I ASKED ON THIS SITE .
u could get some cheap shelving units to build a "wall". Either use the back of the shelves toward the man cave and put nfl posters or flags on it and then the other side with the shelves can be for your work storage side. I do think you need to break up the space into 2 areas, man cave and work storage area. Get a couch, area rug ( maybe an outdoor one) tables and lamps. Go to resale shops or yard sales, or even your own house.
First clear out what you dont need or want to keep!! Then Google or shop Amazon or the local Walmart, Target, Roses, Ollies(all are dept. stores for great design products/ideas for NFL Gear purchases!!!
You need to declutter first. Then hang your bikes up on hooks from the ceilings. Are you wanting to put a TV in this area? Walmart has some really cheap big screens. I would hide your tool area, and add indoor outdoor carpet for a homey look.
