Declutter/CLEAN/and de-personalize things. Potential buyers want to visualize what their things would look like there, not yours. Also, it makes the house look bigger and cleaner.
I believe decluttering is the cheapest, most helpful thing you can do. Remove all your personal items, pictures, etc. and any extra furniture/decor pieces you can. This makes the space look larger and leaves the buyer with more ideas to make it their own.
Have a yard sale and get rid of most of your stuff.
100% agree with Fiddledd224. They say remove collections and any thing with eyes. Photos, figurines, statues, animals. Good luck
Sparkling clean and decluttered! You are selling your house, make it shine, do not let buyers get distracted by your possessions.
I have to agree with the others. First impressions are essential. Make sure when they drive up, they see only the house and landscaping.
Make sure the home is clean and decluttered. Don't do any painting just make sure the walls are clean the buyers will want to paint and decorate their own way. When we listed our home the realtor told us just leave if the way it is, it had a new roof and a beautiful view of the lake we lived on, it sold in two weeks
Hi! Personally, I found once our walls were empty of everything, the walls looked a bit tired and worn. Some minor repairs and a fresh coat of a more neutral color and it looked great! Our realtor recommended fresh and neutral (we used gray and creamy ivory). Good luck!

We’ve had several corporate relocations and our properties that always sold quickly. We’ve had consultants come in with suggestions.
Many of them including decluttering your home. This can include putting away personal family photographs, excessive clutter and personal decor excess furniture, and making the solid surfaces like bathrooms sinks and mirrors sparkle. I would use an alcohol spray and buff dry.
Think of hotel rooms or lobbies and how their decor is rather impersonal but clean and inviting that is the same interior you were looking for.
Outside if you could have a some flowering annuals or perennials planters/baskets to make the curb appeal inviting is another idea. Have your lawn and shrubs if applicable trimmed and neat. Hope this helps.
