what specific type of countertop are you looking for?
What kind should I get?
Have you considered a marble or faux marble that would pull the white and gray. I couldn't afford marble but there are many man made stones that look just like marble
Would love to see what you have decided on when you are finished, but in the meantime if you still have questions, I;m here to help.
Good luck with your project
Consider Corian. Go take a look at it in person, I am confident you can find something that will look amazing with your white cabinets and gray tile floor. Things look much different in person than they do on a computer screen. I promise you.
Maybe a slate color. I do have a question. Why not gray or white? I have learned as i decorate my home that I don't have to follow rules. Because if you've noticed every couple of years those " rules " change. So do what you like. Maybe something with some texture to it. Good luck. Keep us udated please.
Hi Marie, My suggestion would be to go for a Grey/ White marble, that way you could choose any colour you like for walls and or accessories and change another time without having to worry about your worktops. On the other hand, you could go bold and go for Black or a Bright Strong colour and make a statement!
Get a quartz (low maintenance) that looks like Cabrera marble. Shades of white and gray and sometimes a hint of gold-ish. As well, check out the new Formicas. Some fabulous looks
I like granite, it comes in so many colors. Take a trip to a granite warehouse and look at the slabs. Bring a piece of your flooring and a cabinet door.
How about a nice granite with all your colors in it.
If laminate is more in your budget, there are many that incorporate pure white.
I think an quartz countertop that looks like carrera marble is so timeless and would match that color scheme! Quartz is very durable too!
Looking for counter tops myself, do you have a back splash on your walls? Trying to coodinate colors myself for a counter top. I have blue & green back splash and all the counter tops seem to be too 'busy' for my liking. I have just learned one thing myself, stay away from shiny counter tops. They show scratches on them very easily. Best of luck. Quarts in very durable indeed. Shiny counter tops can show scratches easily.
Hi Marie I was taking about something that looked like marble but was NOT actually the very high priced marble
