The BBQ was topped with a 1"x15" pine board, painted to match my other patio furniture. I used 8"x16" cinder block as the legs. It only took about a year for the wood to warp as I'm in the high desert of southern CA.
With the heat I decided to go concrete. I laid the top cinder block on it's side and ran landscape timbers through them to hold concrete pavers.
Amazing what a little paint does to make everything look like it belongs together. I used Rustolium Hammered Silver paint. The ends of the cinder block were closed off with 3 pieces of scrap wood and painted. Looks like it's time to BBQ!!!
