Found: A Perfect Neutral Area Rug
I think I can be classified as a serial decorator when I've changed the area rug in my living room 3 times in 3 years. Finding the perfect area rug for this space was a challenge, but I've finally got it.
Area rugs are a large element in any space and it can change the feeling of the entire room. I wanted something neutral, but not too plain. This patterned rug in white, grays and subtle blues was exactly what I was looking for.
I was concerned about having white in this high traffic area, especially with this little guy. Luckily, I've found the best stain remover for carpets ever so it hasn't been an issue.
When buying an area rug for your living room ideally all the furniture would fit on the rug, but front legs only is acceptable if you can't fit it fully. Fortunately, even in my small living room I can fit it all on this 8 x 10 rug. As for the other 2 rugs? One is now upstairs and the other went to a good home at my nieces house.
