Wait until they dry out and cut them as long as you can and then start winding them around each other. Maybe use some very GOOD glue at the end of them??
i usually make vine wreaths in the spring when the plants are beginning to sprout-they are soft and easy to curl into a circle-as you wind the vine use a pipe cleaner (chenille) to tie it in the shape you want

you basically just need to play around with the grapevines until you can wrap them and get them into a circular shape. I then used twine to secure it and finished decorating it for fall.
