Even before we moved into our new home, I had my eye on a beautiful wood piece that would be stunning in our foyer. I wanted to share a few entryways that I decorated.
Making sure of your measurements in your entryway is important. You don't want a piece to be too large or too small. I chose a dark base lamp, to place on the foyer piece to allow a contrast. Next, I placed a dark maroon floral in a gray bowl. In the middle of this tray are a candle, books, and sweet little cast iron mice.
This is an entryway of one of my clients. A mirror in an entryway is a perfect place to add more light. Two tall buffet lamps flank the mirror, and a gorgeous floral sits in the middle. This entryway table is from the Magnolia Home furniture line.
A smaller entryway will need a smaller entryway table. And usually, one where the depth is much narrower. Again, I placed a mirror on the wall. If you choose a lamp for your foyer, (which I highly recommend) don't worry if the lamp sits in front of the mirror a bit. It will look great!
