How to melt candles and form them?

I melted mine in a double burner. I made a handle on a metal coffee can, bent a spout and put it into boiling water with the candles inside. I used a stick to lift out the strings and metal pieces.
Just stick in an old pot on stove on low, melt, pour into mold.
I melt mine on the stove on low, or even use a hot plate on low with an old pot, then color with melted crayons in them, and pour into molds.
