How do I recover a pouf (fabric foot stool)?
Bought 2 poufs for the living room thinking I was going to use one color scheme and completely changed it. Any way to cover a fabric pouf without actually sewing?
Sheliee...Your seat should be attached with screws..remove them and use fabric of your choice. You can remove old cover or just cover over. Keep material pulled tight and work from side to side then use gift wrap like corners. It's really easy.

Reupholster with thin plywood or wainscoting cut to size. Cover with thick foam from craft store and staple or tack in place at corners or edges. Wrap the seat with fabric like a gift box and staple or tack to underside. Gorilla glue or tape might hold it in place better, but reinforce it now every way you can to avoid redoing this too often

You could remove the old cover, then using a staple gun, recover with the new fabric. See how we did our dining room chairs here: https://www.aratariathome.com/blog/dining-room-chairs
