How do I install a motion-sensor light on back corner of house?
I have a light on the back corner of my house, but the switch is located inside the attached storage shed which stays locked. I would have to lock and unlock it every time I want to turn it on or off. Is it difficult to install a motion-sensor light?

If you or your hubby know how to change out lights, it shouldn't be much different. My hubby changed out two in our back yard, one on the back of the house, the other on the side of the garage in less than two hours, and that included adjusting the range to turn on and the time it is on. We adjusted the lights to take in the height of the dogs so that it would go on when they came out the dog door. If you have a friend who has done it, perhaps they could show you how, you do the installation, and you will have it down for the nest one you want to putt up. I hope this helps you, Neecee!
This is sort of cheating but we had a similar problem. Found a great solar motion sensing light at Costco. It puts out more light then other solar lights I have seen. I especially like the fact that there are 3 light panels that can be turned in whatever direction you like. I like the fact that you can set the sensitivity to high so it comes on even if a cat walks in front of it. Here is a short video that shows this light.

Sorry forgot to add that we have had ours for over 3 years now and not one problem.
I would think that if it's a motion light, that you can put it where your old light is and leave switch on all the time. But here is a video that might be more help.

Intead of a motion detector light. They make motion detectors that screw into the socket under the bulb.
Why make such a project for yourself? Just put in a dusk to dawn sensor between the existing light bulb and where it screws in. It's available at Home Depot, etc. and online. Leave the switch to "on" at all times. The light will only come on at night and turn itself off at dawn.
